Benign Skin Lesion Removal

Benign skin lesions, such as skin tags, seborrheic keratosis, cherry angiomas and age spots can be quickly and efficiently removed using diathermy by our experienced specialist nurses. The thermolysis technique allows removal and simultaneous cauterisation of the lesion with minimum discomfort and no down time required.

Skin tags - small pieces of soft hanging skin

Milia - small white/yellow cysts that appear in clusters on the face

Telangiectasias and spider neavi - fine, threadlike lines that most commonly appear red

Seborrheic keratosis - these growths can appear anywhere on your body, are related to sundamage and most commonly arise on sunexposed areas of your skin, such as the face, head, neck, chest, back, arms, or legs. These spots can vary in size, from about the size of a pencil eraser to the size of a fifty pence piece, although they can get bigger.

Sebaceous Hyperplasia - sebum in the skin becomes trapped and creates bumps in the skin

Cherry angiomas - small, pinhead-like lesions on your skin that appear most commonly on your torso, arms and legs of your body, resembling bloody blisters. Also called Campbell de Morgan spots.

Syringoma - skin coloured or yellowish firm rounded bump, around the eyes, one to three millimetres in diameter
