Dermal fillers are injectables which are used to restore volume, smooth wrinkles and enhance facial contours. Typically made from hyaluronic acid, a compound found naturally in the skin, the
results are often immediate, lasting from several months
to a couple of years, depending on the filler type and individual
factors.
Dermal fillers can be used on various parts of the face and hands to restore volume, smooth wrinkles, and contour features. Common areas include the cheeks, lips, jawline, chin, and under-eye hollows (tear troughs). They are also used on the forehead, temples, and to address lines like nasolabial folds and marionette lines
Some soreness, tightness, or swelling may occur after the injection, but these symptoms usually subside within a few days.
