Skin Biostimulants

Biostimulants for skin are injectable treatments that stimulate the body's natural ability to produce collagen and other proteins, leading to firmer, more youthful-looking skin over time. Unlike traditional fillers that provide immediate volume, biostimulants work gradually by creating a scaffold that encourages new tissue growth. They are used to improve skin texture, elasticity, and firmness in areas like the face, neck, and hands by stimulating collagen production to produce new collagen and elastin, the proteins that provide skin structure, firmness, and elasticity.

As collagen production increases, the skin's structure is rebuilt, leading to a gradual and natural-looking improvement in volume, firmness, and texture over several weeks to months.

Biostimulators can be used to reduce fine lines, wrinkles, sagging, and scarring, and to improve overall skin quality and tone. They work by stimulating the body's own processes to create new tissue, while traditional fillers primarily add volume by filling in the space directly with a gel.

Results from biostimulators are longer-lasting because they improve the skin's structure from within, unlike some fillers that need to be reapplied to maintain volume. Biostimulators typically show some initial volume from the injected liquid, but the most significant results appear gradually as collagen production increases.
